If a disaster event overwhelms or delays first responders, San Diego County Fire Community Emergency Response Team (SDCF CERT) volunteers can assist others by applying the basic emergency response and organizational skills they learn during this FREE training.
SDCF CERT is one of the most active CERT Programs, in the County, completing 17 disaster response deployments since June 2016. The Team is Nationally Recognized for their FREE community emergency preparedness training.
Some of the BASIC CERT training topics will be Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Medical Operations, Disaster Psychology, Fire Safety & Utility Controls and Light Search & Rescue Operations.
Must attend all 3 Days to Graduate: May 2 *;00 am - 5:00 pm, May 3 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and May 9 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
