Give your favorite clothes a second life — beautifully.
Join us for a hands-on class exploring the art of visible mending using sashiko and embroidery techniques. Sashiko is a traditional Japanese form of decorative stitching that turns repairs into stunning design features, and combined with embroidery mending, it's one of the most satisfying ways to extend the life of the clothes and textiles you love.
Whether you have a worn hem, a thinning patch, or just want to learn a new skill, this class will give you the tools and confidence to stitch with intention.
In this class you will:
Feel free to bring one garment from home that you'd like to mend. We'll do our best to work on it during class! We kindly ask that any items brought in be freshly laundered — it makes for the perfect stitches!
All other materials provided. Just bring yourself and a love of making things last.
Space is limited and registration is required. Registration will begin on Tuesday, April 28th. Please call 760-731-4650 or come by.
